Alisha Espinosa

Born in Manhattan and raised in Pennsylvania, Alisha is an Afro-Boricua multi-hyphenate theater maker. She is an actor, playwright, director, producer, dramaturg, and teaching artist--a Swiss-Army knife basically.

 

She holds an MFA in Acting and Directing from UMKC, and a BA in English Literature and Theater Arts from Le Moyne College. Her plays have been presented and workshopped at New Georges, Clubbed Thumb, LATEA, Primary Stages, The Drama League, Step1 Theatre Project. A selection of her work can be found on the New Play Exchange Network. She is also the Co-Artistic Director for the Latinx Playwrights Circle, which produces and develops Off-Broadway.
